Cafeistmo was born from a shared passion for Panama’s exceptional coffee and a vision to bring it to the world. In 2019, Andy García, a graphic designer, and Carlo Escobar, a former diplomat, reconnected with the idea of creating something unique around Panamanian specialty coffee.

Andy had been experimenting with a logo inspired by Panama’s renowned Geisha variety, which was gaining global recognition. At the same time, Carlo had just returned from his diplomatic posts, where he observed a growing international interest in Panamanian specialty coffee.

When Carlo saw the Cafeistmo logo at Andy’s office, it sparked a new direction for both of them. Recognizing the potential of their complementary skills, they decided to turn their shared vision into a company. With Andy’s creative talents and Carlo’s insight into the global coffee market, they established Cafeistmo.

Since then, Cafeistmo has grown into something special: A celebration of friendship, innovation, and a deep respect for the craft of coffee growing in Panama. It honors Panama's unique coffee heritage and the people who cultivate it with pride.
