APPC | Our Conservation Partner
The Pan-American Conservation Association (APPC) is Panama’s leading wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organization, internationally recognized for its work protecting vulnerable rainforest species.
Since 2005, APPC rescues and rehabilitates wildlife across Panama. Each year, the organization cares for more than 450 animals, from sloths and anteaters to porcupines and other native species threatened by habitat loss and illegal wildlife trade.
Through specialized veterinary care, scientific rehabilitation protocols, and environmental education programs, APPC works to return animals safely to the wild whenever possible.
To further its conservation and education mission, APPC opened the Panama Nature Center in Panama City. The center combines wildlife rehabilitation, research, and interactive exhibits designed to inspire visitors and deepen the connection between people and nature.
